**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
Here’s the dream job for any social media expert wanting to work in the vibrant world of audio. We are looking for an experienced Digital Content expert to assist with NZME’s audio brands online strategic direction and long-term content goals.

This one-of-a-kind role is tasked with promoting our radio brands, primarily Aotearoa’s premiere audio news brand Newstalk ZB to the widest possible audiences. You’ll develop policies and processes for content creation and oversee the implementation of best practice and social strategies to execute our Eyes to Ears digital strategy.

You will work with the Digital & Social Content Director - Audio to help lead, inspire, and oversee the development of the online team to produce unique and engaging content which grows the digital footprint and audience of NZME’s radio brands. As a digital content expert, you will also use insights and analytics to provide recommendations and conceptualise future content opportunities.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Maintain all Newstalk ZB social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.
- Convert Newstalk ZB show content into video assets for social media social channels - including Mike’s Minute and Heather’s Perspective.
- Develop Newstalk ZB social strategies and content calendars for major on-air events and promotions.
- Support the Digital & Social Content Director - Audio to implement digital content strategies across each of our radio brands.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Minimum 3+ year’s experience in a Social Media role.
- Experience in a relevant industry preferred, eg. media & entertainment.
- An active digital media, social media and radio consumer.
- A solid understanding of radio, digital and social media platforms and trends, with the ability to produce, write, and edit multimedia content.
- Exceptional time management and attention to detail - ensuring all content is accurate and appealing to a variety of target demographics.
- A team player with a fun, positive attitude who has experience working in a high functioning, fast paced environment.
- Proficiency in Facebook’s Business Manager, Meta Business Suite and Ad’s Manager.
- Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop and video editing experience essential.
