We are seeking an experienced and innovative leader to join our Clinical Services team as our Mental Health Service Manager.

In this role, you will support and develop our workforce, drive continuous improvement, and enhance our mental health services in a primary care setting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development of our mental health services
  • Collaborating with funders and programme partners
  • Providing project oversight and support to various initiatives aimed at improving primary mental health in our region

You will be working closely with our Clinical Services team to achieve our goals and objectives.

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Knowledge of primary or secondary mental healthcare across Aotearoa
  2. An understanding of diverse health needs and approaches to healthcare
  3. Expertise in service development and performance review
  4. Proactive problem-solving skills
  5. Strong people management and leadership skills
  6. A current practicing certificate
  7. A good understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and a commitment to improving Maori health outcomes and equitable access for diverse populations
