The Mental Health, Addictions and Intellectual Disability Service (MHAIDS) has vacancies in our Casual Pool for Mental Health Support Workers. This role is part of the MHAIDS Operations Centre, covering the Wellington, Kapiti, Porirua, and Hutt Valley areas.

About the Team/Service/Location
We are looking for individuals who can thrive in a variety of settings and enjoy working with a multi-disciplinary team. Our services offer flexible hours that cater to your lifestyle, allowing you to develop your skills in a stimulating environment.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 4 National Certificate in Mental Health and Addictions Support Work (or equivalent qualification)
  • Experience working within the area of mental health, preferably in an inpatient setting
  • A current work visa or the legal right to work in New Zealand
  • An ability to work effectively with a team using a multi-disciplinary approach
  • A full and clean driver's license
  • Consent to a Police Vetting Check under the Vulnerable Children's Act 2014
