**The Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Specialist to join our North team in the Bay of Plenty, providing quality mental health community care to adults in Tauranga out to Waihi Beach.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients in a community setting, while promoting independence and maximising health outcomes.

You will work closely with Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Nurses, Social Workers, and Occupational Therapists to provide effective triage, assessment, and management of individuals requiring mental health services.

  • Demonstrated expertise in mental health, including community-based care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A willingness to ask questions and engage in lifelong learning

Our team works collaboratively with referrers, health partners, families/whanau, and the community to provide effective triage, assessment, and management of individuals requiring mental health services.
