We are seeking a talented Psychological Services Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Learning Support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that children and young people with learning support needs receive the best possible education.

About the Role
This permanent, full-time role involves working closely with families, schools, and other agencies to promote social inclusion and maximize learning outcomes for children and young people with additional learning needs. You will be responsible for identifying patterns or contributing factors that may be influencing learning, wellbeing, and behavior, as well as enhancing inclusive practices in early learning services, schools, and other educational settings.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Identify patterns or contributing factors that may be influencing learning, wellbeing, and behavior
- Enhance inclusive practices in early learning services, schools, and other educational settings
- Provide professional support and guidance to schools, teachers, and families, and build their capacity to support the learning of children and young people
- Collaborate with families, whanau, caregivers, schools, and early childhood educators in English and Maori medium settings and other agencies to help maximize learning outcomes and promote social inclusion

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Master's level tertiary qualification and a Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Psychology or equivalent. You must also be a New Zealand Registered Psychologist under the Health Practitioners Competency Assurance Act and hold a current practicing certificate (or be registered under an internship). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with akonga/learners, whanau/families, and kaiako/teachers across various settings.
