Our school is seeking an exceptional Literacy Specialist to join our dedicated team of educators. This fixed-term, full-time position will commence in Term 3, 2025, at our Senior Campus in Epsom.

This role involves teaching students from Year 9 to 13 and requires the ability to deliver engaging lessons that foster skilled and sophisticated speakers, listeners, writers, readers, presenters, and viewers. As a Literacy Specialist, you will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment that encourages student growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To teach English to students from Year 9 to 13
  • To develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • To assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly

Requirements:

  • Degree in English or Education
  • Post-graduate qualifications in a relevant area (desired)
  • Proven track record of delivering effective literacy programs
