Insurance Claims Specialist

Job Summary
The Insurance Claims Specialist will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. This includes guiding customers through policy entitlements and claims processes, managing complex and emotionally demanding situations, and building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver empathetic and outstanding customer service in all interactions
- Set strategies, collaborate with stakeholders, and manage claims costs while ensuring timely, quality outcomes
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring adherence to policies, regulations, and industry standards
- Contribute to process improvements, support team development, and ensure financial compliance with policy scope and authority limits
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' customer service experience, with 1-3 years in general insurance (preferred)
- Knowledge of claims processes and general insurance products (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and knowledge of relevant insurance legislation
- Computer literacy and ability to navigate new systems and platforms
