We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Telephone Account Manager to join our dynamic regional sales team.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending tailored solutions.
  • As part of our sales team, you will leverage your customer service expertise and passion for negotiation to drive business growth and exceed sales targets.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Build strong rapport with customers, understand their needs, and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Negotiate and close sales, consistently exceeding targets.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and maintain accurate records.
  • Keep clients informed about new product offerings and services.
  • Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in target-based sales, particularly in telesales or telephone account management.
  • A fearless approach to business development through cold calling.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a professional phone manner.
  • Confidence in engaging in sales-focused conversations.
  • A tertiary qualification is beneficial.
  • A track record of consistently meeting sales quotas, ideally over the phone.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • The ability to handle rejection calmly and negotiate effectively.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the food service industry is a plus.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently.
  • A target-driven mind set, combined with a strong sense of teamwork.
