We are an international environmental consultancy with a globally recognised reputation for providing high-quality tailored services. Our team of experts provides consultancy advice and support on a wide range of strategic and site-specific issues to a diverse and growing base of business, regulatory and governmental clients.
As an Environmental Consultant, you will join our Land Quality and Remediation discipline in either Tauranga or Hamilton. We're looking for a like-minded individual who enjoys working with an enthusiastic, committed, and fun-loving team, is a good listener, and enjoys solving issues for clients.
Responsibilities
You will work on or assist with contaminated land and groundwater management projects, including preparation of offers of service, conducting field work, managing simple projects, and preparing technical reports. You will also be responsible for assisting with the growth and development of the Land Quality and Remediation business, helping to consolidate relationships with existing clients, actively looking for new opportunities, and helping to manage the input of other staff on projects.
A key theme we wish to develop is the ethos of delivery of pragmatic solutions to help clients achieve their desired outcomes in a cost-effective manner and provide first-rate customer service. Sustainable growth relies on maintaining strong existing customer relationships, and therefore the role requires ensuring high levels of customer service are maintained and fostering the role of SLR as a 'trusted advisor'.
