The Senior Procurement Energy Category Manager will play a critical role in driving this sustainability agenda, developing a future-focused procurement strategy for our Energy Category and working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve decarbonisation goals.
Key Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain or a related business degree.
- Minimum 10 years of strategic procurement experience, including category strategy development, sourcing, negotiating, contract establishment, and vendor management.
- Experience in renewable energy categories, including gas, electricity, and coal.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
About the Role
This is a senior leadership role that demands exceptional Procurement thought leadership and the ability to significantly influence senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in creating and executing strategic management plans, with experience in category strategy development, sourcing, negotiating, contract establishment, and vendor management.
