The Justice Guardian: Ensuring a Secure Court Experience role is a critical component of our efforts to maintain a safe and secure environment within the court premises.
Main Responsibilities- Build relationships with diverse groups of people and provide excellent customer service.
- Screen individuals entering the court, operate CCTV systems, and maintain electronic access control systems.
- Collaborate with other agencies to ensure smooth court proceedings.
- Perform security checks, patrol public areas, and respond to duress alarm activations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with technology, including CCTV systems and electronic access control systems.
- Ability to de-escalate conflicts and provide first-class customer service.
- Physical ability to engage in full contact Officer safety training.
- Possession of a full, clean New Zealand driver's licence and a clean criminal record.
- A competitive salary between $58,729 and $80,794, based on skills and experience.
- A comprehensive benefits package, including 4.4 weeks' holiday leave and access to various inclusive networks.
