This is an exciting opportunity to join our Mission Safety and Performance team as a Team Lead – Flight Analysis. The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers responsible for developing and maintaining in-house flight analysis tools, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines. Job Description:
The Flight Analysis Team Lead will be responsible for:
* Developing and maintaining in-house flight analysis tools, including trajectory and performance evaluation, debris modeling, toxic dispersion modeling, re-entry analysis, overpressure, failure probability, and mission risk assessment.
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including FAA, NASA, USAF, and DOD standards.
* Leading a team of engineers in developing flight analysis methods and assumptions, as well as ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results and meet project deadlines.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent qualification.
* 6+ years' experience in engineering analysis, numerical modeling & simulation, statistics, multi-physics, or similar fields.
* Proven leadership and management experience, with a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong understanding of launch vehicle flight dynamics, orbital mechanics, and GNC principles.
* Excellent programming skills, with proficiency in languages such as Python, C/C++.
