Job Summary
We are seeking a Resident Support Specialist to join our team at St. Andrews Care Home in Hamilton. As a key member of our care team, you will provide person-first care to residents, focusing on their individual needs and preferences. Your role will involve assisting with daily living activities, mobility support, and maintaining accurate health records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist residents with mobility and transfer activities, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records, including medication administration and care plans.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:1 year of experience in aged care or a related field

NZQA Health and Wellbeing Certificate Level 2-4 (preferred)A genuine passion for enriching the lives of older adultsConfident communication and interpersonal skillsA commitment to providing high-quality care and support
