About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team as a Porter, to provide resident support at Patrick Hogan Retirement Village. This is a fixed-term position available for 18 months from March 2025 working Tuesday to Saturday.

In this role, you will often be working independently to:

  • Welcome all visitors and new independent residents and provide assistance and direction as necessary
  • Help settle residents into their new homes
  • Manage resident enquiries, and cover reception
  • Be responsible for answering emergency call bells 24/7 for our independent residents
  • Provide first aid, or call emergency services as required
  • Perform general cleaning and administration duties
  • Assist at Open Days and functions for visitors, residents and families to the village
  • Work closely with and support your colleagues
