We are seeking a skilled Flexible Food Preparation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our back-of-house team, you will work on an ad-hoc basis to cover staff absences and help deliver high-quality meals and cabinet food in line with our recipes.
The RoleYour main responsibilities will include:
- Providing on-call relief cover for the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Preparing and presenting high-quality meals and cabinet food in line with our culinary standards.
- Assisting with the delivery of Chef's Specials and daily salads.
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Supporting with dishwashing and general kitchen duties as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 2+ years of cooking experience, preferably in a fast-paced café environment.
- A strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- An ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high food quality standards.
- A clear and effective communication style, with a passion for great food.
- A flexible and adaptable attitude, with a willingness to chip in wherever needed.
