Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of active claims
  • Liaise with claimants to establish clear recovery plans
  • Evaluate medical conditions and review financial information
  • Ensure compliance with policy terms

Requirements:

  • Case Management experience and/or understanding of rehabilitation and return to work services
  • Product knowledge – experience preferred
  • Life and Disability Claims knowledge – experience preferred
  • Interpretation of business accounts – experience preferred
  • Understanding of medical terminology and files – experience preferred
  • Good working knowledge of community resources and providers
  • Liaison with external service providers required for role
  • Knowledge of legal aspects in relation to the Privacy Act, the Human Rights Act, and the Insurance Law Reform Act
