This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine, providing expert input at Major Trauma Centre and for inpatients at Neurorehabilitation Unit. The role involves sessional commitments at outpatient clinics, including managing patients with Botulinum Toxin injection and Baclofen pumps.

The successful candidate will join a vibrant team of Consultants providing a Rehabilitation Medicine service across various settings. As part of the Grampian Specialist Rehabilitation Services, you will contribute to delivering high-quality care to patients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • \
  • Provide expert medical input at Major Trauma Centre and Neurorehabilitation Unit\
  • Manage patients with posture or movement disorders, including those requiring Botulinum Toxin injection and Baclofen pumps\
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care to patients\
  • Participate in research activities and contribute to the development of new treatments and services\
\

Requirements

  • Full registration with a licence to practise with the GMC\
  • Evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or within 6 months of confirmed entry on the GMC Specialist Register\
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment\
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to research activities\
