About This Role:

We are seeking a Swim Team Leader to join our team at the Arena Aquatic Centre. As a key member of our pool operations team, you will be responsible for leading our swim team and ensuring the health and safety of our customers while they enjoy our facilities.

In this role, you will supervise our pools, conduct water quality checks, and maintain exceptional presentation of our facilities. You will also contribute to creating a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience working in an aquatic environment, although we will provide excellent training for upskilling and First Aid Certification if needed. You must be able to swim competently, communicate effectively with a wide range of people, and respond calmly in pressured situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the swim team and oversee the daily operations of our pool facilities.
  • Supervise staff to ensure the highest levels of health and safety.
  • Conduct regular water quality checks to ensure the water is safe for our customers.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and staff to create a positive and welcoming environment.
