An exciting opportunity for a Community Nurse to work with Māori adults with enduring mental health issues and their whānau to achieve their potential.

About the Team/Service/Location

Te Whare Marie is seeking applications from Registered Nurses who are passionate about the provision of mental health interventions for Pakeke and their whānau. You will be part of a progressive, innovative, and creative whānau/team delivering clinical care from a cultural perspective.

About You

You must have New Zealand Registration relevant to your discipline, but more importantly, you will have proven ability in, and be able to demonstrate, clinical coordination and understanding in the provision of mental health services to whānau. Previous experience in mental health is essential to apply for this role and you must have:

  1. Sound focused mental health assessment and treatment skills.
  2. Confidence in making effective decisions in challenging/complex situations.
  3. Openness to extending your knowledge both clinically and culturally.
