The Role
- We are seeking a talented Psychiatrist to join our team as a Consultant Psychiatrist Forensic.

Your Responsibilities
- Provide quality clinical services to children, young people, and their families within our boundaries.
- Ensure the application of current knowledge, skills, and attitudes in psychiatry to clinical situations and team decision-making.
- Participate in clinical partnerships to deliver integrated, effective, and efficient assessment and care.
About the Team/Service
We are the Mental Health and Addictions Service arm of Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Waikato. Our Puawai Regional Forensic Mental Health Service provides assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation to individuals who have contact with the justice system and have a moderate to severe mental illness.

- A Psychiatrist who is vocationally registered or eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
