Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Specialist - Mental Health in the Rural North Sector. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients with mental health issues.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and risk assessments.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with whaiora and their whānau.
- Providing therapeutic interventions, including counseling, education, and advocacy.
- Working collaboratively with whaiora and their whānau to develop individualized care plans.
About the Position
This is a fixed-term position until December 2025. The successful candidate will be required to work 80 hours per fortnight and be based in Paeroa. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of patients and their families and contribute to the growth and development of our team.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and has a strong commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. If you have experience working in mental health and a strong understanding of te ao Māori (Māori culture), we would love to hear from you.
