Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement effective strategies for programme coordination, including event planning, volunteer management, and stakeholder engagement.

  2. Maintain accurate records and reports, tracking programme progress and providing regular updates to leadership.

  3. Collaborate with team members, volunteers, and community partners to ensure successful programme outcomes.

  4. Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

  5. Contribute to the development of new programmes and initiatives, aligning with Volunteering Waikato's mission and objectives.

Requirements

  • Degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, community development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in programme coordination or event planning, with a strong track record of delivering successful outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
