Ambulance and Community Support Specialist

**Job Description**
We are currently recruiting volunteers for various roles, including Ambulance & Events. As an Ambulance & Events Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to work at community events and on an ambulance, providing care and support to our patients. Your role will be varied, but your focus will always be on providing quality care.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide care and support to patients at community events and on ambulances
- Work as part of a team to provide emergency medical services
- Participate in ongoing training and education to improve skills and knowledge
**Requirements**
- A full and clean NZ driver's licence for at least 12 months or have completed an approved NZTA advanced driving course (if full licence held for less than 12 months)
- To be 18 years of age or over
- New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency status
- A clean police record
- To be able pass Hato Hone St John assessments - physical assessment, health questionnaire, literacy and numeracy assessments and an interview
- To meet our Medical Standards
- To be available for regular duty and training
