Role Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Ambulance & Events Volunteers. As a Community Health Support Associate, you will play a vital role in providing quality care and support to patients in emergency situations. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' conditions and provide appropriate care and support
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with the emergency response team to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A full and clean NZ driver's licence for at least 12 months or have completed an approved NZTA advanced driving course (if full licence held for less than 12 months)
  • To be 18 years of age or over
  • New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency status
  • A clean police record
  • To be able pass Hato Hone St John assessments - physical assessment, health questionnaire, literacy and numeracy assessments and an interview
