Job Description
We are recruiting volunteers for Auckland Central. This is a big commitment that provides huge rewards. By working at community events and on an ambulance, your role is varied, but the focus is always on providing quality care to patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide care and support to patients through their journey, which may start at a 111 call and end either being referred to another healthcare provider, treated on scene, or transported to a medical facility
  • Work at community events, covering anything from local and international sports events to school fairs or a concert
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A desire to help people in a compassionate and professional way, embracing the diversity our communities offer
  • Commitment to continuous learning and training
  • Trustworthiness and reliability
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Great time management

Benefits
As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including:
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
  • The satisfaction of making a real difference in the lives of patients
  • The opportunity to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
  • A supportive and inclusive work environment

Additional Information
We welcome applications from people who share our values and are passionate about making a difference. If you need accommodations for accessibility, please let us know. Research shows that women and people from under-represented groups are less likely to apply for roles when their experience doesn't match the job description perfectly. If you're excited and think you have what it takes, we want to hear from you.
