The Role

We are currently recruiting volunteers for Kawakawa Bay, Auckland, who can provide care and support to patients through their journey, which may start at a 111 call and end either being referred to another healthcare provider, treated on scene, or transported to a medical facility.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care and support to patients in various settings, including community events and ambulances.
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse team to achieve common goals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Requirements
  • A desire to help people in a compassionate and professional way.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
  • Trustworthiness and reliability.
  • Great time management.
  • A full and clean NZ driver's licence for at least 12 months or have completed an approved NZTA advanced driving course (if full licence held for less than 12 months).
  • Be 18 years of age or over.
  • New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency status.
  • A clean police record.
