Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will work within our Adult General Service as part of our integrated system. You will enjoy a variety of presentations in your role involving input into crisis, inpatient and community assessment and under care work.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality mental health services to adults
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient-centered care plans
- Conduct assessments and provide treatment for patients with acute and long-term mental health needs
Requirements
- Eligible to gain registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
- Experience in adult mental health, including inpatient, outpatient, alcohol and drug service, and rehabilitation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits
- Competitive salary: $180,000 - $220,000 per annum
