Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Inside Account Manager to join our sales team. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for growing and developing Xero's relationships with existing Accounting & Bookkeeping Partners.

You will work closely with partners to develop business plans, identify sales opportunities and drive partner attendance to Xero sales events.

Key Activities
  • Develop and execute territory management strategies to optimize partner relationships and sales growth
  • Build a sales pipeline by identifying and pursuing sales opportunities
  • Prioritize and manage daily activities to meet sales and call targets
  • Collaborate with partners to develop business plans and implement strategies for growth and development
  • Participate in Xero sales events and drive partner attendance to increase visibility and opportunities
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Xero features and functionality through regular training and updates
  • Meet and exceed activity targets, including sales performance and partner certification
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of partner interactions in Salesforce
Requirements
  • Proven experience in inbound phone and email sales with a track record of success
  • Passion for the online accounting industry and its potential for growth
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport quickly
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow up on commitments
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on ownership and accountability
  • Initiative and self-motivation, with a willingness to take calculated risks
  • Knowledge of accounting products and practices, with experience working with clients
  • Long-term relationship management experience
