Roger Gill Agriculture is seeking an experienced Tractor and Agricultural Field Service Technician to join our team at our Huntly branch.
About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to work on a wide range of equipment, from compact tractors to 300 plus HP tractors, silage and tillage equipment, both in our workshop and out in the field.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out a range of repairs, from scheduled servicing to covering electronic faults using the latest diagnostic technology to transmission and differential rebuilds.
- Work on a variety of equipment, including tractors, balers, mowers, and other farm machinery.
- Provide excellent customer service and have a positive attitude and outgoing personality.
- Work productively and efficiently in the workshop and out in the field.
- Be self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow their knowledge.
- Diesel Technician qualification.
- Your own comprehensive set of tools.
- A full driver's license.
- NZ residency.
- A Forklift license and F endorsement.
- Class 2 and a Wheels endorsement would be beneficial, but not essential.
We offer a competitive hourly rate, ranging from $30 to $42.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience. This equates to an annual wage range of between $66,300 to $93,925 (excluding any overtime hours). During the busier spring/summer months, you will also be scheduled on an on-call roster and paid an allowance of $100 per week.
