Our Hamilton Branch has an exciting opportunity for a robust and sales-driven individual to join our ANZ Agriculture Sales Leadership Team. Your new role will lead the sales direction for our John Deere Agriculture products across our 18 New Zealand dealerships.
**Responsibilities include but not limited to**:
- Achieving sales growth and profitability throughout the assigned Territory
- Assisting in achieving asset management goals of turn and aging and protecting company assets. Included but not limited to new and used whole goods inventory.
- Provide assistance and guidance for forecasting the right inventory mix to achieve sales and market share goals in the assigned Territory.
- Provide continuous input on the development of standard machine specifications and encourage the selling of the FAB's of the standards.
- Assist in managing and developing all sales staff to build a motivated and successful workforce focused on long-term success for the company and customers.
- Achieving Market Share goals in the defined segments as agreed for the long-term success of our manufacturer and the company.
- Provide feedback and input into future opportunities and competitive pressures.
- Assists in compiling and utilising transaction pricing information to maximise market-based pricing and increase margins in all equipment groups.
- Facilitate and promote corporate sales strategy and initiatives through active participation in corporate strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting.
- Achieving the financial sales performance targets in the Company Budget.
- Recruitment, training, development, and management of direct reports, which may include Corporate Product Managers for different product lines.
- Provide advertising, promotion, and marketing input with the Brandt Sales Support and Marketing departments.
- Assist with negotiation of sales contracts with customers.
- Establish and maintain good public relations with communities.
**Political and Industry Personnel.**
- Achieve customer satisfaction throughout the Sales process.
- Attend industry events, actively participate, and promote all divisions of Brandt during the event.
- Performance of other duties normally and customarily carried out by senior management in connection with Brandt.
- Ongoing presence at all physical operating locations within the prescribed AOR of Brandt is critical.
- Continuous ongoing communication and contact with the VP of Sales - ANZ.
