Strategic Fundraising Lead

We are seeking a Strategic Fundraising Lead to join our team at Amnesty International. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and delivering our programmes for major and mid-level individual and institutional donors, and bequests.
As a Strategic Fundraising Lead, you will work closely with our Fundraising Director to research and recruit new donors and co-ordinate stewardship and engagement activities to achieve donor growth targets. You will also support the development of our bequest programme and manage and prepare grant funding applications.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing and implementing fundraising strategy and plans, as well as a proven ability to build and grow high value donations through intentional relationships with generous individuals and institutional donors within the for-impact sector.
We are looking for someone who is committed to upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi and has sound leadership skills, high emotional intelligence, exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, and is an all-around excellent communicator.
