We are seeking a dynamic Philanthropy Manager to join our fundraising team, who will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving major gift fundraising strategies that directly impact those we care for.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to engage and grow our major supporters, while ensuring that all gift efforts align with Mercy Hospice's goals and strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a high-performing, sustainable major supporter program.
  • Develop and implement a strategy to strengthen Mercy Hospice's financial sustainability by increasing revenue and donor retention.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with our supporters.
  • Implement Mercy Hospice's Gifts in Wills strategy.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, social sciences, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with building and nurturing strong relationships and partnerships.
  • Experience with major gift fundraising, planned giving, or account management/sales.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and build meaningful relationships.
  • Experience in fundraising software and CRM systems.
