KidsCan Charitable Trust is a leading not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing essential resources to children in need across New Zealand. As the Senior Event and Fundraising Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving fundraising initiatives and events, making a significant impact on children's lives.
This role offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated team, developing strategies that increase revenue and ensure a strong return on investment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of events, from strategy, planning, execution to evaluation.
- Fundraising Objectives:
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Cultivate relationships with fundraising and event partners.
- Manage income and expenditure budgets for fundraising activity.
- Represent KidsCan externally at events and functions when required.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven success in leading and managing the delivery of quality events (10+ years' experience).
- Experience in developing successful strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Strong leadership skills with experience coaching direct reports as well as managing cross-functional project teams.
- Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively.
