Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, cooking appliances, utensils, cutting boards, trays, and dishes according to hygiene standards.
  • Remove rubbish and clean the kitchen floor at the end of each shift.
  • Unpack, label, and store delivered food supplies.
  • Restock used items and inform when food supplies are running low.
  • Wash, clean, peel, cut, and chop fruit, vegetables, poultry, and meat.
  • Prepare salads, savouries, and sandwiches.
  • Pack food items and beverages for serving.
  • Perform any other related duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Able to start at 4:30am in the morning.
  • At least 3 months of relevant work experience in a commercial kitchen.
  • Physically fit for heavy lifting and tasks that require physical strength.
  • Ability to learn fast and work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.

We offer a competitive pay rate of $28.50 to $30 per hour and a 30-40 hour workweek.
