We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to join our team as a Strategic Procurement Specialist.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and executing procurement strategies that align with the University's goals. They will lead negotiations, manage supplier relationships, and ensure sustainable, efficient procurement practices.
This role requires a high level of skill and expertise in procurement, including experience in managing new and ongoing supplier relationships, negotiating complex contracts, and providing expert advice to internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in management, science, commerce, or a similar field, and at least 5 years of experience in procurement. They will also possess strong problem-solving abilities, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and advanced planning and organising capabilities.
