Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled procurement professional to join our team as a Procurement Business Partner. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of best practice procurement strategies, providing expert advice and support to senior leadership, and collaborating on large-scale procurement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute best practice procurement strategies to drive value and efficiency.Provide expert advice and mentoring to senior leadership and other stakeholders.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement large-scale procurement initiatives.Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure optimal outcomes.Evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate agreements to meet business needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will have at least 10 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a higher education or research environment. You will also possess a bachelor's degree in management, procurement, or a relevant field and be a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS). Additionally, you will have strong relationship-building skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a thorough understanding of current market conditions and business needs.
