As a key member of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic's portfolio, you will play a vital role in maintaining a comprehensive overview of key activities and ensuring alignment and connectivity across various departments and workstreams.
You will work closely with department leaders, providing regular updates to senior leaders, stakeholders, and relevant committees. Additionally, you will manage key projects within the Academic Office, as well as those initiated by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a comprehensive overview of key activities and ensure alignment and connectivity across various departments and workstreams.
- Work closely with department leaders to provide regular updates to senior leaders, stakeholders, and relevant committees.
- Manage key projects within the Academic Office, as well as those initiated by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor.
To succeed in this role, you will need to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, develop a deep understanding of the workstreams within the Deputy Vice-Chancellor's portfolio, and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
You will use your initiative to identify opportunities and challenges and will play a role in problem-solving and strategic planning.
The successful candidate will have exceptional communication abilities, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders, preparing detailed reports, and presenting key findings.
They will thrive in collaborative environments, maintaining strong, constructive relationships across all levels of a large organization.
With a keen strategic mind, they will be adept at analyzing data, conducting environmental scans, and using planning tools to support decision-making.
