The Role

In this role, you will provide tailored learning support to our tauira, both in and out of the classroom. Your mahi might involve notetaking or typing, helping tauira navigate course materials and online resources, breaking down academic tasks, and building their confidence with time management and independent planning.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification, preferably above the level of tauira you are supporting
  • Relevant Teacher Aide Certificate, desirable
  • Previous Teaching Aide experience preferred
  • Experience in a pastoral role, coaching, mentoring, support, or teaching advantageous but not essential

Culture and Values

We are a kaupapa Maori organisation, and your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Ahuatanga Maori (values, culture and tikanga) will be key to your success in this role.
