About the Role

The University of Waikato is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the Academic Strategy Manager position. This exciting new role will involve delivering high-quality coordination across academic strategy, initiatives, and projects.

As an Academic Strategy Manager, you will maintain a comprehensive overview of key activities, ensuring alignment and connectivity across various departments and workstreams. You will work closely with department leaders, providing regular updates to senior leaders, stakeholders, and relevant committees.

You will manage key projects within the Academic Office, as well as those initiated by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic. To succeed in this role, you'll build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, develop a deep understanding of the workstreams within the DVCA's portfolio, and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a comprehensive overview of key activities
  • Ensuring alignment and connectivity across various departments and workstreams
  • Working closely with department leaders
  • Managing key projects within the Academic Office
