We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Geotechnical Field Specialist to join our team in Christchurch. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing field testing to ensure the quality and integrity of our materials testing services.

About the Role

  • You will have completed a degree or diploma in a relevant field such as Geography, Geology, Earth Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, or Environmental Science.
  • With 0-2 years' work experience, you will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • You will be required to travel to various sites throughout New Zealand and work in adverse environmental conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform field testing to ensure the quality and integrity of our materials testing services.
  • Collect and record data from site visits.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Geography, Geology, Earth Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, or Environmental Science).
  • 0-2 years' work experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
