About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Testing Specialist to join our team in Christchurch. This role is perfect for someone looking to develop or kick-start their career in geotechnics.

This position will involve conducting field and laboratory testing to ensure accuracy and reliability. You will be working with a variety of materials and equipment, requiring attention to detail and a strong analytical mind.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in Geography, Geology, Earth Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, or Environmental Science. 0-2 years' experience in a related field would also be beneficial.

You will be expected to provide excellent communication skills, work autonomously with minimal supervision, and collaborate effectively with colleagues when required.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field and laboratory testing to high standards
  • Collect and analyze data to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Develop and maintain technical reports and documentation
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
