About the Role
We seek an experienced Planner/Intermediate Planner to join our growing team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse planning projects, preparing resource consent applications, and engaging with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare resource consent applications and manage the process through to approval.
- Collaborate with project teams and external consultants to achieve project objectives.
- Provide planning advice and solutions for land development projects.
- Conduct research and analysis to support planning applications and strategies.
- Communicate effectively with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
- E nsure compliance with local planning regulations and environmental policies.
About You:
You are an experienced planner with a passion for land development and sustainability. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are detail-oriented, proactive, and a team player.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Resource and Environmental Planning (or a related field).
- Two plus years experience submitting resource consents to local authorities or processing for authorities is highly desirable.
- Sound knowledge of the Resource Management Act and how it relates in a local context.
