Job Overview:
Hamilton City Council is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Groundsperson to join our team on a permanent basis working full time Tuesday to Saturday. As part of our Hamilton Gardens Operations team, you'll assist in maintaining our lawns and water features plus ensuring the grounds and facilities are presented to a high standard for our local and international visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and enhance the beauty of Hamilton Gardens' extensive gardens and landscapes.
  • Completing a routine maintenance schedule across the Gardens to specifications.
  • Setting up traffic management to ensure safety of crews working near our roading network.
  • Check for any damages on the Garden grounds and reporting where necessary.
  • Interacting with visitors, providing exceptional customer service, and sharing your knowledge about the space.
