Maintenance Planner

Our RoleWe are looking for a Maintenance Planner or an experienced maintenance professional who is looking for a career move into maintenance planning.
The role can be located at either our Otorohanga limestone quarry and processing plant but will support the Oparure quarry and Te Kuiti plants.Key focus areas the role will include:Coordinate the development of maintenance schedule for the Oparure Quarry, Otorohanga Plant and Te Kuiti Plant.
(who and when)Develop detailed maintenance plans for individual work orders for all three plants.
Working with maintenance team members to ensure all work orders are planned.
(What and how)Collaborate with the Production Supervisors, Purchasing & Inventory Specialist and Maintenance Supervisors in planning and scheduling, including the development of work order job kits.Develop standard maintenance procedures for routine reoccurring jobs.Manage the backlog of maintenance work orders using the CMMS used within Graymont.Engaging & helping to manage contractors as needed for weekly/shutdown activities.Ideally, the successful candidate will have the following attributes and qualifications:Mechanical Fitter (or similar) trade qualification and experience or greater than 5 yrs in hands on maintenance role in heavy industry.Experience in Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) software, management of work orders and MS Office proficiency.Experience in maintenance planning and/or scheduling within operations.Knowledge and experience with spare parts management.Experience managing third party contractors and suppliers.Experience with quality systems (e.g.
