Your Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance of street landscaping features
- Supporting gardening activities across the city
- Collaborating with the wider team to achieve shared goals
What You Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in horticulture, with a focus on urban landscapes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A high level of physical fitness and ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Current Full New Zealand Driver License
- Experience in the preparation and application of agrichemicals
- Knowledge and experience of the use and maintenance of general tools, plant and equipment
- Good understanding and experience to identify and control plant pests and diseases
- Good communication skills
- A solid work ethic and a willingness to work in all weathers
- An understanding of Health and Safety requirements working in this industry
- Good knowledge of amenity plants
