Our team combines cardiac and general intensive care, admitting approximately 1,100 to 1,200 children each year. You'll have the opportunity to work on a shift roster, supported by senior medical staff. You'll also have the chance to develop your skills in paediatric retrieval service, operating across New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities

As a registrar, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team. You'll have opportunities to participate in educational programs, including regular teaching sessions.

This position is ideal for advanced trainees in paediatrics and approved for core acute care training. Applications for 2025 are now open, with 6- or 12-month positions available, starting either in January or at the end of July 2025.
