As a Regional Administrator with Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children, you will play a critical role in supporting the wellbeing of tamariki and rangatahi. You will work closely with our teams to ensure that we are delivering high-quality services and making a positive impact in our communities.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Administration Services team and contribute to the success of our organization. As a Regional Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Manager, Administration Services (Northern), and other team members. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administrative support across multiple locations and stakeholders;
  • Assisting with travel, fleet management, student placements, caregiver debts, child support, casual workers bureau, timesheet processing, site support, CYRAS queue requests, and more;
  • Developing new creative ways of working and ensuring changes offer improvements and efficiencies in the team as a whole.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working collaboratively with the Administration Services team to deliver high-quality services;
  • Providing administrative support to the Manager, Administration Services (Northern), and other team members;
  • Assisting with travel, fleet management, student placements, caregiver debts, child support, casual workers bureau, timesheet processing, site support, CYRAS queue requests, and more;
  • Developing new creative ways of working and ensuring changes offer improvements and efficiencies in the team as a whole.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An advanced level of computer competency;
  • Experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving;
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills;
  • The agility and adaptability to work on different pieces of work in conjunction with the other members of the team;
  • A full NZ driver's license.
