Located in the prestigious Starship Children's Hospital, Haumaru Ōrite is a leading acute child and adolescent mental health unit in New Zealand. As part of our dynamic team, we are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join us on a full-time basis.
The OpportunityWe have a rare opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to work across a variety of sub-specialties, including acute inpatient care and the Auckland metro Mother and Baby Unit. With 18 acute beds, we admit patients from the top half of the North Island, providing a diverse range of cases for you to tackle.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist psychiatric care as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Work across a variety of sub-specialties, including acute inpatient care and mother and baby units
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality patient care

Requirements- Vocationally registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand with a current Practising Certificate or eligibility for registration
