**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a Behaviour Support Service Lead to join our therapy team. The successful candidate will play a critical part in student development, working collaboratively to reach the best possible outcome for those we support.

**Key Responsibilities:**

The Behaviour Support Service Lead will be responsible for leading the delivery of a comprehensive, innovative and evidence-based behaviour support service that meets the needs of students and adults within a Positive Behaviour Model. This will include:

  • Assessing students and planning, implementing and evaluating interventions
  • Planning and developing the PBS service and providing line management to team members
  • Working in close collaboration with classroom teams and other members of the Therapy team to provide integrated behaviour support
  • Promoting expertise and best practice through training, modelling and staff coaching
  • Attending student reviews and other relevant meetings to ensure a person-centred approach in collaboration with the team around the student

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Evidence of established specialist skillset in behaviour assessment and management
  • Demonstrates leadership skills through use of appropriate management styles, ability to adapt communication and effective prioritisation and time management skills
  • Able to work as an effective and co-operative team member and to collaborate successfully with colleagues and Head of Therapy
  • Effective line management skills evidenced through the ability to coach, support and performance manage team members

**Qualifications and Certification:**

A degree within psychological and behavioural science is essential for this role. A Disclosure and Barring Service Check will also be required.
