About the Position

We are seeking a Disability Services Coordinator to join our team in Auckland or Christchurch. This permanent full-time position is responsible for coordinating disability services across our region.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans to promote positive behaviours and quality of life for those we support. You will work closely with our Service Delivery colleagues to provide integrated disability and healthcare services.

To succeed in this role, you will require a strong understanding of the disability sector, as well as experience working with individuals who display challenging behaviour. A professional attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality care are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement PBS plans to promote positive behaviours and quality of life for those we support.
  • Provide coaching, training, and guidance to Support Workers to ensure they have the necessary skills to promote positive behaviours.
  • Engage with individuals, their families, and support networks to ensure their safety and quality of life is improved.
  • Work collaboratively with Service Delivery colleagues to provide integrated disability and healthcare services.
